Yes, I see a clear bias. I think we all have a tendency to see things from our point of view.
But God is beyond our limited lifetime and it is good, holy, perfect. If the book you are the God of the Old Testament and New Testament, read to see God is so good and loving.

not necessarily true. I hate the God of the Old Testament, but credit him for ransom in the New Testament. However, my question is why is it necessary to prove, first? Tho, if I do not believe in God is the God of the Bible ..... But my own understanding of it.
Rough, tough OT God is not some good things in the NT, and we should be impressed?
It's like the Mafia is the commission of crimes throughout the year, then a free party for the less privileged (and hope that we do see as "good", so).
What has struck me that many people who are good and very well problems with the God of the Old Testament (and Paul), with Jesus. I once saw a bumper according to:
"Jesus was a Liberal
But God is a conservative! "
This is a summary from my point of view entirely, if reversed.
"God is conservative,
But Jesus was a liberal! "
You see the Liberals, the Conservatives have created your sticker in order to solve the problem they have with Jesus, namely, his teaching and his example is sooooo.
The Conservatives say they are "Christians", but is clearly an example of the sin of "use (Christ's) name misused." Please note that cite conservative preachers and writers again and again. It was Paul and the Old Testament, Jesus of Nazareth. (But Jesus was much loved in the world as a whole, with your name on the bottle to the teaching of Paul.)
