Frankly, it should be a cleaner, which is the skin. Most of the time cleaning! I had a similar problem when I put my jacket in the basement a few years ago and it smelled musty. She also had to tear one in the back. I took it for cleaning and repair and clean jacket. You did a great job and it was all for under $ 25.00. It's worth the money instead of buying all the supplies to do it myself, and perhaps to nothing! Good luck!
