'A Raisin In The Sun' - Which Version? - a raisin in the sun movie

I read the book (I saw clips of the film old and new versions of it) and I must say that it is now my fav book. Anywho, I'd buy the movie version of it, but do not know what they are buying. I want to make the new version, it stars my fav actress Audra McDonald and Phylicia Rashad, but I'm not a big fan of P. Diddy. Or should I pass the time, old classics, with Sidney Poitier and Ruby Dee? For those who have seen what you think?
